What is ResEPA?
The Residential Energy Producers Association ("ResEPA") is a consumer targeted set of primarily digital cross media resources that will provides information, training, options, tools, reviews, and shared experiences related to the implementation and efficient utilization of alternative energy resources. ResEPA's emphasis will be on residential opportunities and solutions (!renewable) SUSTAINABLE energy resources, initially focused of solar power generation and battery storage. This focus will broaden as technologies are developed and become practical for residential applications.
ResEPA will highlight "off grid" potential solutions, providing proven alternatives and setting realistic expectations of capabilities, costs, benefits, support, and maintenance.
ResEPA is to be an unbiased (in terms of vendor representation) and an authenticated set of resources that are analogous to the types of resources available to potential and current buyers of computing solutions. ResEPA will emphasize real user experiences and "n-way" (i.e. Forums) communications across a set of general interest and issue specific solutions that will be enriched by user input and contributions.
Mission
We want to insert the residential consumer's voice into the dialog that has been dominated by government, the product suppliers, and integrators ("Industry"), ResEPA will provide tools that inform consumers of their range of choices and facilitate shared consumer experiences and issues.
Vision
As renewable energy, as a "concept", goes past the "Early Adopter" phase of adoption, ResEPA will provide a neutral view of the various consumer options and capabilities that are available with a resource of authentic experiences.
Evangelizing CO2 awareness will include discussions that should include the "Social Costs" in the decision making process.
